I want to give some fraud and abuse examples. Unfortunately, there are some bad apples in the H-1B visa program.

paskal - i actually agree with your basic premise.....once the larger body agrees on a basic vision and strategic plan - the tactical manuevers to achieve the vision in line with strategy should be left to leaders.......
but this principle generally works in two scenarios - either when the leader (or lead group) is appointed by a higher authority (like employees following the lead of a CEO appointed by board of directors which in turn has been "elected" by shareholders) or when the leader has been directly or indirectly elected by the constituents.......
Let me give an example.......an entrepreneur starts a company with a great idea.....grows it and nurtures it with great love and passion......dedicates his whole life to the idea and the venture.......then the entrepreneur needs a larger canvas and more money to grow the vision further.......he takes the company public or gets private equity funding or raises debt........now the new owners/ stakeholders decide they need to change the management and decide to elect a person of their own choice........suddenly a rank outsider replaces the entrepreneur as CEO........the new CEO now has the legitimacy and owners' backing to dictate how the company should function.....
I welcome red dots but take a moment to absorb what I am saying and whether the principle is wrong......

This is perfect time, IV core team members has to concentrate to push this bill in all its possible means. I am sure political climate is in favor of CIR bil in capito hill. Infact most of americans want this to be done to collect lot of taxes.

What works for someone may not work for us. VXG and others were lucky we are not as simple as that which does not mean that we left any stone unturned...it just doesn't work that way.....but again will keep on trying...
has anybody tried calling USCIS as the proxy applicant..I mean has anyone as a primary called USCIS for their dependent....the reason I am asking is I need to do that....I am sure there is no "sex" in the file and there is no way for them knowing that I am the primary applicant or not.

There is no need to tell lies, you can always say that you are enquiring about your spouse. The CSR makes sure that your spouse is there at that time, and talks to your spouse first before talking to you about your spouse's case.

I think its a typo too No. It's not a typo. I had met Aman in a conference in December. He was talking about selling his house to contribute to IV (I really hope he didn't have to). But he has contributed a small fortune to this effort.

I have had v.bad experience with them ..don't open a account there ..they will harass you like anything to send this documents and that ..for me they did the same and kept my money for 9 months without paying any interest. I will post the email that I had recd from them . they even misplaced the draft which had my principal
I took visitors health insurance from ICICI Lombard.
There was some typo in the date of birth ( my mistake actually)..so I wanted to correct it..The callcenter ppl told me that once policy is issued you cannot make any changes to it..they advised me to cancel the policy online and buy another one..they will return the money for cancelled one.
So I cancelled the policy and took another one.
They sent the cheque to my parents house after couple of weeks for the cancelled policy and they deposited it to ICICI Bank account.
Now the fun starts..the money never came into my account.
For the next 8 months, I was BBQ'd, did a sheek-kebab of myself without any use.
Finally, I got every email ID that ends with @icicibank.com and whereever there is @icicixxx.com and sent out an email blasting everyone..then also sent an email to icici bank manager from my online service manager.
Finally I got a response saying they deposited the amount already 8 months ago..I was so pissed off..I took a screen shot (.bmp) of my account for that period asking them why cant I see the transaction here..
then after a week, they emailed me saying, the amount was deposited to wrong account..means someone elses account..LOL..

You know my old H1B case was reopened on Sept. 28, and the USCIS Emailed me that they sent a notice. But I haven't received such notice, my employer/attorney also didn't receive any notice. I wonder the USCIS didn't send this notice at all!

I got the letter.
As of 10:30 AM PST (Thursday), I have responsed to all requests for Sample letter, details of officer at TSC and steps to reach IO at TSC.
If you have not received an email from me, please send me a message again. It's been almost impossible to keep up with all the requests I have received since last night.
Any requests that I get after 10:30 AM PST, I will respond to them tonight.

I am not aware of anyway to check if money order is enchased or not, because, I think, you have to pay money upfront when you buy money order. However, I can be wrong.
Why didn't you just send the check?
Absolutely there is a way to track if a money order has been cashed. The customer service # and order # for the money order are usually listed on the bottom stub which the buyer keeps. Just call the customer service #, plug in your order number and the system should tell you if it has been cashed or not.
